DonutMove privacy policy
Effective 30 September 2026
DonutMove is an anti-theft movement alarm operated by zwid.net. Questions and requests: kontakt+donutmove@zwid.net
What we collect
- Device details: a random device ID, the name you give the device, its model and Android version, and the app version.
- Detector status: armed state, battery level, sensor and permission status, your settings, and the label and icon you choose.
- Alarm history: when an alarm was triggered, why, and whether it was acknowledged.
- Location: GPS position of the Detector while an alarm is active. This is collected in the background, including when the app is closed or the phone has restarted.
- Photos: pictures taken by the Detector’s cameras when an alarm is triggered or when you run a test capture.
- Technical data: IP address and connection times.
Live video is streamed to your phone and is not recorded. The app does not use the microphone.
Why
Only to run the alarm service: to detect movement, alert you, and show you the location and photos from your own Detectors.
Sharing
Your data is available only to the phones you have paired with a Detector. We do not sell it, and the app contains no advertising or analytics. When you open the map, your phone loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which then sees your IP address and the area shown.
Retention and deletion
Alarm history, locations and photos are kept until you ask us to delete them. To have your data deleted, or to get a copy of it, email kontakt+donutmove@zwid.net with the name of your device.
Security
All connections are encrypted. Each device has its own secret, and photos can be opened only by the phones paired with that Detector.
Changes
If the app changes how it handles data, this page is updated and the date above changes.
